Foundation and BA
  • FOUNDATION: 2018-2019 I was the Academic Lead and Admissions tutor for the BA Arts and Humanities Foundation Year (Level 3-6). Foundation year study enables students to progress from level 3 to level 4 successfully. Apply here for Arts and Humanities Foundation Year.

  • BA. I teach modern and contemporary literature and also guest lecture across departments including English, Creative Writing and Humanities

  • I lecture on the PhD Critical Theory module, and I also teach a workshop for the departmental Teaching in Higher Education programme for PhD students.

  • Since 2015, I have been the Programme Director for the MA Contemporary Literature and Culture.

Other Teaching

As a qualified teacher of over ten years, I have a background in teaching English pre further education. I currently do (very limited) outreach work in local schools. I also do workshops for staff - mainly on technology for teaching and learning.
